If + Present tense / will (won’t) (or MODAL) + infinitive

 

It’s quite easy to listen UNLESS you are deaf

If you talk to the doctor he might say that you are ill

N:B  We can use modals instead of will/won’t.  We can also use when, unless, as soon as, before, after, in case instead of ‘if’.
